Is the extension safe? What does it access?
The extension reads tab metadata and page excerpts only when you use capture or page chat — not your full browsing history. Page chat is ephemeral by default and is only persisted if you save the page. How page chat works · Privacy Policy.
Will my library sync if I'm offline?
Captures and edits queue locally and sync the next time you're online. Recent items stay readable offline. More on offline behavior.
Can I use Trovepile across personal and work accounts?
Yes. Workspaces separate personal and team contexts. Collaboration features require Team or Business at GA. AI quotas are account-level monthly buckets shared across workspaces.
Do I need to install everything to get value?
No — start with the extension and the web app. Desktop and mobile are optional surfaces that share the same account and library.
